Scene for a story, what do ya think?
Ok here it goes, I have a Duck Dodgers fan fiction I'm re-doing and decided to add a few characters from Tiny toons to the mix. While listening to this song I thought about doing a parody of this scene from A Goofy movie. Basically Buster Bunny, Babs Bunny, Plucky Duck, etc... are all in the college division of Acme looniversity. Long story short, they're older than they were in the Tiny Toons series. In this scene the gang has finished their first semester and summer vacation is about to start. So here's how it goes. Granny: "Buster, wait up! you forgot your hall pass (hands it to him) have a good day." (pats him on the head) (A few students including Roderick and Ruebella Rat walk by, all of them laugh at Buster.) Buster: (grins nervously and waves) "They've been laughing since I can remember, but they're not gonna laugh anymore. No more 'Buster the geek' " (Hops over a fence) "No more 'Goof of the week' like before." (walks along the sidewalk and slips on some marbles two kids are playing with) Elmyra: "No more algebra tests 'til september" (rips paper) (Buster bumps into Montana Max) Montana Max: "No more looking at losers like him." (Picks up Buster and tosses him aside) Plucky Duck: "No more havin' to cheat." (Shows the answers to a history quiz painted on his right wing) Calamity Coyote: "No more mystery meat." (Grabs Buster's lunch bag) Hampton J. Pig: "No more gym." (tosses gym shorts) Fowlmouth: "No more gym," (also tosses gym shorts) Barky Marky: "No more gym." (tosses shorts) Furrball the cat: "No more gym!" (tosses shorts which land on Buster's nose!) Fife Lefume: "Gonna move to the mall." (shows wallet to Sweetie bird) Johnny Pew: "Gonna live in the pool." (leans against fire hydrant, as if posing for a picture) Buster: "Gonna talk to Babs and not feel like a fool!" (Johnny and Sweetie walk away, Fife also walks by and pushes Buster aside) Chorus line: 'Cause after today I'm gonna be cruisin'" (Byron Basset, Little Beeper and Lightning Rodriguez skateboard by Buster) Buster: "After today she'll be mine." (moves out of the way) Chorus: "After today my brains will be snoozin'" (Mary Melody, Saul Sheepdog and Margo Mallard walk by, heading for their next class) Buster: "If I don't faint, I'll be fine." Sweetie bird and Fife Lefume: "I've got 40 more minutes of home economics." Johnny Pew and Concord Condor : "Then down with the textbooks." (Put books aside) Hamton J. Pig: "And up with the comics!" (holds up Batman comic-book) Buster: "Just think of all the time I've been losing, finding the right thing to say." (Buster runs and leaps over a hydrant, which scares away some pigeons) Chorus: "But things will be going my way, after today..." (Babs walks by) Buster: "She looked right through me, and who could blame her?" (looks at poster of Bugs Bunny hanging in the window of a bookstore) "I need a new me, plus some positive proof that I'm not just a goof and..." (school bus drives by) Chorus: "After today I'm gonna crusin'!" Ruebella Rat and Margo Mallard: "No more football games to cut. blech!" (both make faces) Chorus: "After today my brains will be snoozin' " (students get off the bus) Pete Puma: "I'm gonna sit on my butt." (drives off) Buster: (looks at clock outside the building) "I've got less than an hour and when this is ended, I'll either be famous..." (runs in, slides down the railing of the stairs leading into the schoolyard) (bumps into Arnold the pitbull) Arnold the pitbull: "Or you'll be suspended!" Chorus: "Just think of all the time I've been loosing, waiting until I could say..." (Buster runs by the track, in the background a few students are doing jumping jacks and one falls over, obviously exhausted) Chorus: "Gonna be on my own, kiss the parents good bye, gonna party from now, till the end of july." (shows students tossing up their homework, one student runs off accidentally dropping a picture of his mother that was in his wallet and several other students are doing cartwheels.) Chorus: "Things will be going my way, after today!" (School bell rings and everyone stops what they're doing) Buster: "I wish that this was the day, after today." ---- There's more after the song ends but just thought about this. Anyway, what do you think of it? If you aren't familiar with some of the Tiny Toons characters, try looking them up on wikipedia. You can also find episodes of the show on youtube. (

I thought it was cute but quite childish if you plan on them being in university ;)

Parody for story, what do you think of it?

Lost pressure in my well water house system after plumbing project but no leaks?
Ok so I am not a qualified plumber obviously but have done a bit. We have a Well X Troll well tank/bladder (not sure if I have my terminology quite right). We have a square D pressure switch. The system does not have any pressure gauges anywhere in the lines (all the plumbing is not quite up to code shall we say). We have a main line coming in from the well outside (in the yard there is the little 12" round house thing coming out the ground with a blue lid and electrics next to the hydrant), this goes to a T which has vertical line leading to the house and the horizontal goes to another T with 1 leading to the well x troll and the other to the square D (hope that makes sense). We have been running high pressure as we have been trying to get our sprinkler system and pasture water to a correct level so have been running pretty much at the max of the square D which I worked out was about cut in 50 cut out 70 with screw 1 fully closed (the spring as tight as it would go). We have been working on our plumbing today and we turned off stop cocks in the line that go to the main house after all the bladder and everything. So as far as I can tell the bladder was never empty while we were working. We changed some black iron out for some flex pipe and also added 2 Ts with PEX pipe for a washing machine, only about 2 12 foot sections of PEX leading to tap heads. We turned the cocks back on and bled all the air out the system and everything seemed to work great however when we tried to turn on the kitchen sink the pressure seemed very low, pretty much just a trickle, we cleared the screen out of the end and this increased the pressure quite a bit but it still did not seem as much as it was before. After looking at the bladder I now no longer hear it call for water, I have tried to loosen screw 1 by turning it counter clockwise which has loosened the spring but this did not make it call for water even after we turned the taps on for some time. I only loosened it a few turns. We found a place on the line to put a pressure gauge and it says the pressure is now 60PSI, though this is pretty high it is lower then it was before as I got I think it was 65 PSI out in our back pasture threw about 100ft of 1" pipe. It seems no matter how long we leave the tap on the bladder does not seem to call for water anymore. I think for a start someone has switched the main house line and the square D switch for a start (there was a flood in the basement before we moved in and they replaced the square D I think as it was under 2' of water). I think the water is getting its main pressure directly from the well outside and the bladder was only adding a few extra PSI and now I think that maybe the square D switch needs replacing as well as switching its position in the line. Any suggestions would be great!!! Hope this all makes sense, I can get pictures tomorrow if that makes it easier to answer. thx in advance

Ok, I'll do my best. Your problem is sediment in the water lines & in your well pump, from what I can tell you are on a well, right & live on a farm, yes? As far as your water pressure you are ok if it is between 55 & 75 lbs. you said you were at 60/65. It's been 9 hours now, so I hope you have called a plumber that is experienced with well pumps. The pump issue needs resolved first, then any issues with pressure & sedament in the water lines. Best I can do. Good luck
